KC and the Sunshine Band is a disco and funk band which was founded in 1973. Their best-known songs include: That's the Way (I Like It), (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty, I'm Your Boogie Man, Get Down Tonight and Boogie Shoes. The band took its name from lead vocalist Harry Wayne Casey's last name ("KC") and the Sunshine Band from KC's home state of Florida. The group has had six top 10 singles, five number one singles and a number two single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had creases and scuffs along the folds, including in the face of the man second from right. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
