Love without a let-down!"; "Love makes a glamour girl turn rug-cutter!"; "A picture to remember as fondly as the first time someone whispered... 'I love you'!"; "The fun is furious... and so was the groom... when Melvyn kissed the bride!"; "From a story by Gina Kaus and Andrew P. Solt"; about a woman who inherits her father's trucking business, and she successfully runs it herself, and a reporter turns up who wants to run a negative story about her, but he ends up falling for her instead) starring Joan Crawford, Melvyn Douglas, Roland Young, Billie Burke, Allen Jenkins, Mary Treen, and Edward Gargan. Note that this was originally going to be titled "He Kissed the Bride", but was later changed to the title that we know today. Also note that this movie was supposed to star Carole Lombard, but she was killed in a plane crash just prior to the filming of the movie, and Crawford stepped in to replace her. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has slightly darkened, typical of Columbia lobby cards of this period. There are a few tack holes and faint smudges around the edges, with some tiny pieces of paper stuck to the bottom center of the image, and in the top right of the yellow title area. There are remnants of two pieces of tape on the back of the center of two borders, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose. Learn More about condition grades
