Lacombe Lucien, the 1974 Louis Malle French/German/Italian World War II (WWII) France Home Front small-town resistance military melodrama (about an 18 year old French boy in 1944 whose father is a prisoner of war, and he is rejected by the French Resistance, and he goes to work for the Gestapo, but then he meets the daughter of a rich Jewish tailor; based on director/writer Malle's actual experiences, it made him very unpopular in France, and he moved to America as a result!) starring Pierre Blaise (in the title role as Lucien Lacombe), Aurore Clement, Holger Lowenadler, Therese Giehse, and Stephane Bouy
