The poster had an extra horizontal fold just below the regular middle one. It had surface paper loss and scuffs on all the foldlines, with tape stains in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
