An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Only Son, the 1914 Oscar Apfel, William C. de Mille, & Cecil B. DeMille silent family romantic melodrama (from the story "By Winchell Smith, author of Brewster's Millions"; "Produced in Motion Pictures by the Jesse L. Lasky Feature Play Co.") starring Thomas W. Ross (in the title role as Thomas Brainerd Jr.), Jim Blackwell, A. MacMillan, Jane Darwell, Merta Carpenter, and Arthur Collins. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good. Someone put thick black tape on all four borders, but it does not affect the image. Learn More about condition grades
