An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 42") (Learn More) Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the classic 1954 Michael Curtiz post-World War II sisters holiday singing-and-dancing romantic musical (with classic "Lyrics and music by Irving Berlin"; "The most fabulous music-and-mirth show in motion picture history!"; "Joyous entertainment for every season, any year!!!!") starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, and Dean Jagger. Note that this was the first motion picture to be filmed in VistaVision! Also note that the title song "White Christmas" was first introduced in 1942 in the Fred Astaire/Bing Crosby movie "Holiday Inn", and it proved to be so popular that this movie was made, utilizing part of the plot of that earlier film, and reusing this song, which was now over a decade old, but it proved to be an even greater hit! Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41". Condition: good to very good. There is tape on the back of most of the right half of the bottom foldline and there is tape on the back of the middle crossfold. The poster is clearly in lesser condition, but it is also true that this is the sort of poster that responds well to restoration, and after a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, and there will be little paint anywhere in the image!
