Ingmar Bergman's Jungfrukallan (released in the U.S. as "The Virgin Spring"), the classic 1960 Ingmar Bergman Swedish brutal-rape-and-murder-followed-by-revenge-by-father melodrama ("Ravished innocence... brings terrible revenge!"; winner of the Academy Award & Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film) starring Max von Sydow, Birgitta Valberg, Gunnel Lindblom, Birgitta Pettersson, Axel Duberg, and Tor Isedal. Note that in 1972, this movie was remade (minus all the artistry, but with added brutality) as "The Last House on the Left".

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had approximately 4" of blank paper (with printer info at the bottom) trimmed from the bottom. It had wear on the horizontal folds and some ink stains and surface paper loss across the top 1" of the poster (see our image). Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
