An Original Vintage Unfolded French Stage Play Poster (measures 23 1/2" x 31 1/2" [60 x 80 cm]) (Learn More) La Teresina, the 1920s French romantic love triangle post French Revolution musical stage play production (of the 1925 Oscar Straus Austrian operetta "Die Teresina"; adapted by Leon Uhl and Jean Marietti; set ten years after the French Revolution, when they passed a law saying that exiled French nobles could return and reclaim their seized property if they married a commoner within one year; a young Count returns from America and meets a gypsy woman, and falls in love, and they marry, but Napoleon Bonaparte soon returns to France, and convinces the Count to leave with him, leaving his wife all alone; she becomes the prima donna of all France, to much acclaim, and after six years, her husband returns, and doesn't recognize her, but falls in love with her, and Napoleon does as well!; she recognizes him, but she teaches him a lesson by stringing along Napoleon, and everything works out well at the end!)
