a lot of 6 title test cards (9" x 11 3/4") from E.T. the Extra Terrestrial. Note that our consignor tells us that these cards were prepared prior to the release of the movie to test various potential titles for the movie, and with different fonts. He has no certificate of authenticity, but it seems certain they are authentic. Each is created on a heavy board and each has a single letter written on the back (A through F), obviously to distinguish one type from the other. We have never auctioned any of these before! Of course, E.T. the Extra Terrestrial is the classic 1982 Steven Spielberg (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) science fiction (sci-fi) alien family fantasy melodrama ("His Adventure on Earth"; "He is afraid. He is totally alone. He is 3,000,000 light years from home."; "Written by Melissa Mathison"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Dee Wallace, Peter Coyote, Henry Thomas ("as Elliott"), Drew Barrymore (in her second movie role!), and Robert MacNaughton. We have pictured the front and back of all six cards.

Measurements: 9" x 11 3/4"

Condition: good to very good. Each of the cards has a crease in the top left corner and all have some slight scuffs and smudges (see our images).
