An Unfolded English Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) British Railways: Stratford-upon-Avon, the late 1940s English train railway railroad travel poster ("See Britain by rail"; "Shakespeare's birthplace") encouraging people to use British Railways to visit the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, England. Note that the town is the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and this poster features art of the Gower Memorial statue with Shakespeare's home in the background. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some light and fine creases at top and bottom as well a few tiny brown dot stains (generally in approximately 9" of the lower edge and 6" of the upper edge). There are a few minor edge defects. It is otherwise in generally nice condition and after some proper restoration to the above it would look great! Learn More about condition grades
