The 6 issue comic book series was written by Mike Baron and features the first comic appearances of Mara Jade and Grand Admiral Thrawn. Taking place five years after Return of the Jedi, Han Solo and Princess Leia are married, Luke Skywalker is the first in a new line of Jedi Knights, and Grand Admiral Thrawn has taken command of the remains of the Imperial fleet. This comic series is highly regarded and valuable among the Star Wars comic collectible community. We have been told that a highly graded Issue #1 has regularly gone for over $500 alone (but we have not auctioned one before).
