Date Sold 3/20/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 7 1930s to the 1940s pressbooks from Universal Studios, the film studio which was founded in 1912 by Carl Laemmle, Mark Dintenfass, Charles O. Baumann, Adam Kessel, Pat Powers, William Swanson, David Horsley, Robert H. Cochrane, and Jules Brulatour. It is the oldest surviving film studio in the United States, and the world's fourth oldest after Gaumont, Pathe and Nordisk Film. It is located in Universal City, California, and is one of Hollywood's "Big Six" studios. Universal also owns several film-related theme parks and resorts, including: Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Japan and more! We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: from 11" x 18" to 14" x 23"Note that we were consigned a number of pressbook bulk lots just before preparing this set of auctions. We just don't have the time to check these pressbooks for cuts. Based on the last group of pressbooks we received from this consignor, there is a very good chance that no more than a handful of these pressbooks would have any cuts, and possibly no more than one or two. HOWEVER, DO NOT BID ON THIS BULK LOT UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT SOME OF THEM MAY HAVE CUTS! Condition: good, NO CUTS. Some of the pressbooks were folded and some have separation on the spine and wear around the edges.
