An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Frank Lloyd's Rulers of the Sea, the 1939 Frank Lloyd historical seafaring ocean ship sailor swashbuckler romantic adventure melodrama ("Ships that conquered the oceans and united the world"; "Frank Lloyd's inspired story of the conquest of the Atlantic"; about the first steamship voyage across the Atlantic Ocean) starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Margaret Lockwood, Will Fyffe, George Bancroft, and Montagu Love. Margaret Lockwood and Will Fyffe are billed as being "By arrangement with Gainsborough Pictures (1928) Limited". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that either the title of this movie was originally "Ruler of the Seas", and it was slightly switched to "Rulers of the Sea", or more likely, a dyslexic typesetter incorrectly wrote the title on the stills, and it was later corrected! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Condition: good to very good.
