An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 20 1/4" [36 x 51 cm]) (Learn More) General Crack, the 1930 Alan Crosland historical European Austria Germany romantic love triangle royalty intrigue melodrama ("Based on the distinguished novel 'General Crack' by George Preedy"; "Scenes in natrual color Technicolor"; about a mercenary working for the emperor of Austria who is sent to steal jewels, and while he is gone, the emperor has an affair with his wife, so the mercenary decides to lead a revolution to overthrow the king; this early talking movie had some Technicolor sequences!) starring John Barrymore (in his first all-talking role!), Marian Nixon, Armida, Lowell Sherman, Hobart Bosworth, and Nick Thompson. Note that the sound version of this movie is "lost", which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. A silent version does survive along with the Vitaphone discs. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 20 1/4" [36 x 51 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded.
