An Original Vintage Folded Russian Circus Poster (measures 21 1/4" x 29 3/4" [54 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

This circus poster has no writing on it (or we can't read it or the translation does not help) and we do not know more about the performers and/or attractions, so we have listed it as "Unknown Circus Poster". If anyone knows more, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this poster! It mentions an attraction called "Mysterious Ball" which was produced by Alekseenko, but we cannot find more information about it. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Note that this poster is one of a collection of 36 similar posters that we were consigned (and are currently auctioning in 36 separate auctions). They include Russian, Uzbek, Ukranian, and Latvian posters, and some of them are movie posters, and others are circus posters, with a few other kinds of posters. All of these posters are incredibly rare, and on the vast majority of them, we have never auctioned them before, and it may be many years before we auction any of them again. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one or more of these posters, all of which have very striking images!

Condition: very good. The poster has an extra fold at a slight diagonal between the middle and bottom folds, with minor fold and border wear.
