If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this British quad, which is a "country of origin" poster for these English movies, and that was 14 years ago! Note that this poster has four studio-issued snipes glued to the poster. Two of them are directly under Sean Connery's credit at middle left and right, and the other two are over Sean Connery's entire credit at bottom left and right. In the first two cases, it read "as JAMES BOND in", and in both those cases, the snipe simply says "IN". In the other two cases in the bottom credits, it said "SEAN CONNERY AS JAMES BOND", and in those cases, a large snipe simply reading "SEAN CONNERY" was placed over those entire areas. We imagine that Connery was sensitive about having been typecast as James Bond, and did not want to be identified that way on the poster, which would be why the studio sniped it after it was printed (and the other example of the poster we auctioned had the exact same snipes). Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has four studio-issued snipes (see above). It also has vertical creases to the right of the top one-third of the left vertical fold and an extra partial vertical fold next to the top half of the left vertical fold. It has a few faint scuffs in the pants of the right Connery figure and a scuff mark in the right of the bottom yellow border (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
