Date Sold 2/12/2013Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) William Shatner is an actor from the 1950s to the present. He was 27 when he made The Brothers Karamazov, and he had already spent five years appearing on TV shows. It seemed like this first movie role might be a big break for him, but it was not to be and he returned to TV for 8 more years, including memorable appearances in episodes of The Twilight Zone. In 1966, when he was 35, and it appeared his career might be winding down, he was cast as Captain Kirk in "Star Trek" (a replacement for Jeffrey Hunter, who had starred in the pilot as "Captain Pike", but was no longer available) and that propelled Shatner to stardom. He is also remembered for his role as Denny Crane in the "Boston Legal" TV series. His early acting is often parodied due to his overuse of dramatic pauses when speaking his lines AND DeForest Kelley was an actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. Though he appeared in many films in his early career such as Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and Warlock, he will forever be known for his role as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in the original Star Trek television series and films. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH William Shatner AND DeForest Kelley! Our consignor is a very longtime autograph collector who reports that the original Star Trek actors were very willing to sign photos through the mail UNTIL the mid 1980s, when they started only selling their autographs! He obtained both these signatures through the mail in 1979, when the first movie was released! Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
