An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 12"; contains 1 supplement, and 17 stills) (Learn More) Fat Man and Little Boy (released in other English-speaking countries as "Shadow Makers"), the 1989 Roland Joffe World War II (WWII) military historical weapons-research melodrama ("In 1942, the United States secretly set out to build the world's first atomic bombs. They called them 'Fat Man' and 'Little Boy.' And the man they called on to get the job done was General Leslie Groves. Strong. Brilliant. Determined. Willing to push human endurance to the limit. Willing to bear the responsibility, the glory and the blame. His mission changed the world. His story is the story of his times. And ours."; "Paramount Pictures is proud to present Academy Award winner Paul Newman in a film by Roland Joffe, acclaimed director of 'The Killing Fields.'"; about the atomic bombs developed in The Manhattan Project) starring Paul Newman (as General Leslie Groves), Dwight Schultz (as J.R. Oppenheimer), Bonnie Bedelia, John Cusack (as Michael Merriman, whose character was based on Louis Slotin), Laura Dern, and John C. McGinley NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and four of the stills (less than four if the presskit has less than four stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Note that on our larger lots of black and white stills (usually ones with nine or more in the lot), there are a small number of lots where there may be one or several duplicated stills in the stills not pictured (we only picture four of the stills on most of the black and white lots). We tried to note when some of the stills not pictured were duplicates to the ones that were pictured, but we may not have caught that every time, so please do not bid on the lots of nine or more stills unless you can accept the possibility that there may be some duplicated stills contained in the lot (there also may be a very few of the lots with eight or less stills that have a duplicate in them, but that is far less likely). Condition: very good to fine. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some minor wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image. Learn More about condition grades
