An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" Movie Still (Learn More) Angela Lansbury was an English actress from the 1940s to 2022. She is probably best remembered for her role as Jessica Fletcher in TV's "Murder She Wrote". Some of her movies include: Gaslight (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), National Velvet, The Picture Of Dorian Gray (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Manchurian Candidate (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Beauty and the Beast. Oddly, she looked older than her years in her earliest movies, but then she pretty much stopped aging, for several decades! She passed away in 2022 at the age of 96.
