An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4") (Learn More) The Bullfighters, the 1945 Malcolm St. Clair (billed as "Mal St. Clair") mistaken-identity toreador matador bullfighting romantic screwball comedy ("It's a 20th Century Fox 30th anniversary picture!"; Stan is a bumbling detective, who is on the lam from a man he sent to prison, and he passes himself off as "Don Sebastian", a famous matador who has mysteriously disappeared, and who looks exactly like Laurel!) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel & Hardy), Margo Woode, Richard Lane, Carol Andrews, and Diosa Costello (a Puerto Rican actress of the 1940s who was no relation to the famous Costellos). Note that this was this great comedy team's last American movie (they had been making movies together for 20 years)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: ARE YOU UNFAMILIAR WITH GLASS SLIDES? Many collectors are not familiar with them, because they are incredibly rare, and are rarely offered for sale. Click HERE for a brief history of what they are and what they were used for. Note that we have provided two images at right for this glass slide. The first image is a high quality scan of just the image area of the slide that shows what it looks like with light shining through it (as it was originally seen when displayed). The second image is a photograph of the entire glass slide (including either the cardboard holder or black tape around the edges, depending on the type of glass slide it is). Clicking on either image will open a new browser window with larger, high quality versions of both images. Condition: good to very good. the glass slide itself is in good to very good condition. Someone cut out the bottom blank area where a theater would put its show dates (this is not uncommon with glass slides); the slide has a slightly "frosted" look to it, but it really can only be seen when it is tilted to the light; other than the above defects, the slide itself is in pretty nice condition; the cardboard holder is in very good to fine condition Learn More about condition grades
