The Dawn Patrol, the 1930 Howard Hawks airplane aviation World War I (WWI) military thriller ("From the story 'The Flight Commander' by John Monk Saunders, Author of 'Wings'"; about British pilots in World War I, and there is a love triangle between two men and one woman, and one of the men dies after he is sent on a mission by the other man) starring Richard Barthelmess, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Neil Hamilton, Frank McHugh, and Clyde Cook. Note that this movie was very successfully remade in 1938 starring Errol Flynn, David Niven, and Basil Rathbone. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
