An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Danish Movie Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 33 1/2") (Learn More) Fraulein Hoffmanns Erzahlungen (literally translates to "Miss Hoffmann's Tales"), the 1933 Carl Lamac German romantic melodrama starring Anny Ondra (she was married to director Carl Lamac, and was a major star in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s; she continued working with her husband after they were divorced, and in 1933, she married boxer Max Schmeling, and they appeared in "Knockout" together, and remained married for over 50 years, until her passing in 1987), Matthias Wiemann, Ida Wust, Paul Otto (he was a famous German actor during the 1920s and 1930s, and he appeared in many Nazi propaganda movies, and became a favorite of Joseph Goebbels; but late in 1943, it was discovered that he was Jewish, and he and his wife committed suicide at their home!), and Josef Eicheim. Note that the IMDb lists this movie as a "comedy" and gives no other info, but looking at the German program, it seems clear it is a romantic melodrama and does not appear to be a comedy at all.
