Raffles, the 1930 George Fitzmaurice & Harry d'Abbadie d'Arrast jewel thief romantic adventure crime thriller ("An Amazing Mystery Romance"; "From the stage & book sensation by E.W. Hornung and Eugene W. Presbrey") starring Ronald Colman (in the title role "as 'Raffles' Daring Gentleman Genius of Crime"), Kay Francis, Bramwell Fletcher, Frances Dade, David Torrence, and John Rogers. Note that Raffles was a master criminal and jewel thief in a series of 26 short stories and one novel written between 1898 and 1909. The first movie adaptation was in 1905, and it was followed by others in 1917 (with John Barrymore in the lead role), in 1925, and the first sound version was in 1930 with Ronald Colman, and finally, in 1939 with David Niven.

Important Added Info: Note that the still second at left is glued to a linen-like backing (we think it is highly likely this was a key book still, and that someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the left of the still, no doubt so it could be put in a frame).

Condition: very good. The still pictured at top left has a small red ink stain in the Francis's chest, and a few have minor border defects, but otherwise the stills are in pretty nice condition.
