An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) The French Line, the 1954 Lloyd Bacon 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) Paris France romantic musical comedy ("Songs as Gay as Champagne!"; "That Picture! That Dance! - you've heard so much about!"; "J.R. in 3D! That's all, Brother!"; "J.R. in 3D! Need we say more?"; "It'll knock Both your eyes out!"; produced by Howard Hughes) starring Jane Russell, Gilbert Roland, Arthur Hunnicutt, Mary McCarty, and Joyce Mackenzie NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster (which is from the 3-D release of this movie) is extremely rare. Not only have we never auctioned it before, but we have never auctioned any U.S. poster larger than a one-sheet before! Also note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This three-sheet is from the "3-D" release. In the case of this particular movie, the 3-D posters have a large "J.R. in 3D" on them. Condition: very good to fine. There are a few tiny tears and a tiny bit of paper loss in the top right corner of the poster (in the yellow background area, on the foldline). There is slight darkening on the back of the poster. Otherwise, it has very minor fold and border wear, and has likely survived in as good condition as one could hope, given its age and size! Learn More about condition grades
