An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Fangs of the Arctic, the 1953 Rex Bailey Royal Canadian Mounted Police RCMP mountie canine dog western adventure thriller starring Kirby Grant, Warren Douglas, Lorna Hansen, Leonard Penn, and Chinook the Wonder Dog. Note that Chinook the Wonder Dog was a white dog that looked like a cross between a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd, and he appeared in ten movies between 1949 and 1954, all set in the Yukon. We were unable to find out why Chinook's career ended so suddenly, but perhaps he had substance abuse problems or some other problem! Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
