An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, the classic 1962 John Ford romantic love triangle taming-of-the-West cowboy western ("Together for the First Time"; "Four-time Academy Award winner John Ford brings the American frontier to heroic life again!"; "Screenplay by James Warner Bellah and Willis Goldbeck"; "James Stewart John Wayne in the masterpiece of four-time Academy Award winner John Ford"; about an eastern lawyer who goes out west and finds it completely lawless, and the town is terrorized by a remarkably bad man, but the lawyer, aided by a local man, succeeds in bringing law to the town) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; as Ransom Stoddard), John Wayne (as Tom Doniphon), Vera Miles (as Hallie Stoddard), Lee Marvin (in the title role as Liberty Valance), Edmond O'Brien (as Dutton Peabody), Andy Devine (as Marshall Link Appleyard), Ken Murray (as Doc Willoughby), Strother Martin, Lee Van Cleef, Woody Strode (as Pompey), Anna Lee, and John Qualen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this half-sheet (and the very similar six-sheet) has far and away the best image from this classic western, much superior to that of the one-sheet or insert! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There are many small creases throughout the poster (likely caused by rolling and unrolling). There are pinholes and smudges around the edges of the poster. If this poster were professionally paperbacked, the creases would be greatly minimized, and it is likely that the poster would only require a small amount of inpainting.
