An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Western Speed, the 1922 Scott R. Dunlap & C.R. Wallace silent romantic cowboy western (" Story by William Patterson White"; about a man who arrives in a town with his daughter, and he is wanted for a murder; a local man clears the father by finding the real killers, and wins the love of the girl) starring Buck Jones (billed as "Charles Jones"), Eileen Percy, Jack McDonald, J.P. Lockney, and Jack Curtis. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
