A Linenbacked Swiss Advertising Poster (measures 36" x 50 1/4" [91 x 128 cm]) (Learn More)

La Nationale (literally translates to "The National"), the 1959 Swiss poster promoting the La Nationale brand of cigars made by the Camponovo company in Chiasso, Switzerland. Note that this poster features art of a horse and man smoking the product.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had an 8" vertical scuff mark in the top left of the poster, extending into the back of the hat. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
