We have only previously auctioned a French program book from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this French one-panel! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. It is difficult to know what defects the poster had prior to backing, and which it had after, so we will just describe its current state. Many years ago, it was mounted onto a thin linen with no excess, and there is a huge number of creases scattered throughout, with tears and areas of paper loss down the vertical fold and a lesser amount on the other folds. There are tears and areas of paper loss around the edges. If I owned this poster, I would surely have it removed from the thin linen and have it properly re-backed, but bear all of this above in mind before bidding on this incredibly rare poster.
