Richard Jones & Richard Wallace silent romantic slapstick comedy short (produced and written by Hal Roach) starring Theda Bara (in the title role as Madame Mysterieux), Oliver Hardy, James Finlayson, Tyler Brooke, and Fred Malatesta. Note that this was the last movie Theda Bara ever made! She had been the number one female star of the 1910s, the original "vamp", but by 1926, her career was essentially over and Hal Roach gave her parts in two short comedies (essentially parodying herself), but that did nothing to revive her career.
