A Folded Norwegian Travel Poster (measures 24 1/4" x 39 1/2" [62 x 100 cm]) (Learn More)

North Norway, the 1968 Norwegian train railroad railway travel poster ("Where night takes a holiday") encouraging people to use the Norwegian State Railways when visiting the northern part of the Scandinavian country, and featuring Knut Yran artwork of a smiling Sami boy holding flowers with reindeer behind him. Note that this artwork was the first prize winner in the 1959 International IUOTO Poster Contest.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster was never folded but the upper edge was folded back at one time. It has many light and fine creases scattered throughout (see our image). After proper restoration the rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's defects and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
