The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, the classic 1962 John Ford romantic love triangle taming-of-the-West cowboy western ("Together for the First Time"; "Four-time Academy Award winner John Ford brings the American frontier to heroic life again!"; "Screenplay by James Warner Bellah and Willis Goldbeck"; "James Stewart John Wayne in the masterpiece of four-time Academy Award winner John Ford"; about an eastern lawyer who goes out west and finds it completely lawless, and the town is terrorized by a remarkably bad man, but the lawyer, aided by a local man, succeeds in bringing law to the town) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; as Ransom Stoddard), John Wayne (as Tom Doniphon), Vera Miles (as Hallie Stoddard), Lee Marvin (in the title role as Liberty Valance), Edmond O'Brien (as Dutton Peabody), Andy Devine (as Marshall Link Appleyard), Ken Murray (as Doc Willoughby), Strother Martin, Lee Van Cleef, Woody Strode (as Pompey), Anna Lee, and John Qualen

Important Added Info: Note that someone cut out the central image of each card (to use as an 8x10 still!), but afterwards they carefully taped them back together with brown paper tape. Since the cards have been cut with a razor, the join between the two cards is not super noticeable, but it is slightly noticeable. This lot does include the three great cards from the set, including the scene where Lee Marvin is shot and also my favorite card, the one where Wayne says, "I said YOU Valance!"
