Biberman detective murder mystery melodrama (based on the novel by Rex Stout) starring Edward Arnold (in the title role as Nero Wolfe), Lionel Stander (as Archie Goodwin), Joan Perry, Victor Jory, Dennie Moore, John Qualen (as Olaf, who replaces Fritz from the books!), Rita Hayworth (super young, billed as "Rita Cansino"), and Martha Tibbetts. Note that Rex Stout started writing the super popular Nero Wolfe detective novels in 1934, and in 1936, this movie was made, starring Edward Arnold in the title role. The following year, "The League of Frightened Men" was made with Walter Connolly taking over the part. But no more sequels were made, perhaps because Rex Stout was not happy with the movies, or perhaps there was another reason. In the 1970s, there was an Italian TV series, and someday someone will do justice to this wonderful series of books in a movie or TV adaptation! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this item consists of THREE cut album pages, which each have been personally autographed (signed) by a different person: Edward Arnold, Victor Jory, AND Lionel Stander. They were then matted with a color REPRO of the one-sheet to make a cool 11" x 14" display! Our consignor obtained these autographs many years ago in a group of purchases, and they do not remember anymore about them than that, except that they felt they were authentic at that time, and so do we. Condition: very good. The display was nicely assembled, mattered, and shrink-wrapped. Someone put a price sticker on the top right corner and then put a piece of clear tape over it.
