An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Squadron 992, the 1940 Harry Watt English World War II (WWII) documentary newsreel short ("Cinescopes reels of knowledge"; "Graphically portraying the balloon barrage designed by Britain as a defense against enemy planes."; "Thrillingly timely!"; "A Columbia short subject presentation") featuring Lionel Gamlin, Tommy Evans, Jim Gilder, and Jock Harrison. Note that this newsreel was shown as part of a Columbia newsreel series called Cinescopes Reels of Knowledge, but apparently the series was very short-lived, because not only have we never seen anything else from this series, but we only found a few newspaper ads mentioning it. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Condition: good to very good. The poster has some pinholes, small stains, creases and small tears around the edges and small separation at the bottom crossfold.
