Date Sold 8/4/2013Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 65 8x10 stills showing Frank Sinatra, who was a legendary singer of the 1940s, who became a major movie star that same decade, and continued singing and acting for many years. Some of his movie roles included many MGM musicals (some with Gene Kelly), as well as dramatic roles like The Man with the Golden Arm, The Manchurian Candidate, and From Here to Eternity. He, along with his best friends, were known as The Rat Pack, and he was the inspiration for the "Johnny Fontaine" character in the Godfather movies! Note that the items in this lot are from the 1940s to the 1980s. Note that this lot includes a 1945 fan photo of Sinatra that has a facsimile autograph at the bottom on the front, and on the back it has a long description that starts out "How would you like to be Mrs. FRANK SINATRA???", and then goes on to tell all about him and that his new movie is Anchors Aweigh!
