Paradise?"; "Based on the novel and the play by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall"; about a young working class man who is a compulsive liar and who constantly escapes into a dream world, all the time juggling two fiancees, and having a dream of running off and starting life fresh) starring Tom Courtenay (in the title role as "Billy Liar"), Julie Christie (billed as "introducing Julie Christie" on U.S. posters; in her first major role, which made her a star!), Wilfred Pickles, Mona Washbourne, and Ethel Griffies NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these are rare "country of origin" lobby cards for this English movie!
