An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #7 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Royal Wedding (released in Australia as "Wedding Bells"), the 1951 Stanley Donen New York/England romantic dancing marriage musical ("MGM's gayest Technicolor Musical!"; "The story of a famed singing, dancing, brother and sister team!"; "Story and Screen Play by Alan Jay Lerner"; "Music by Burton Lane"; "Lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner"; loosely based on the life of Fred Astaire and his sister Adele, and Fred got to play himself, and Jane Powell, who was 30 years younger than him, played his sister, when in real life, his sister was three years older than him!) starring Fred Astaire, Jane Powell, Peter Lawford, Sarah Churchill (daughter of Winston Churchill), Keenan Wynn, and Albert Sharpe. Note that this is the movie with the classic sequence where Fred Astaire literally dances all around a room, including both walls and the ceiling! Also note that Jane Powell is primarily known as a singing star, having started as a teen, but in this movie, she does quite a bit of dancing, and she does it quite well!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: very good. There are minor creases and a tiny tear in the top blank border, and some faint brown stains in the center of the bottom border, but the card is otherwise in nice condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
