Lasky's 'Gateway to Hollywood' Talent Search"; about the elderly owner of a department store who has three sons, but he can't get any of them to show any interest in taking over the family business) starring Edward Ellis, William Gargan, Kent Taylor, J. Edward Bromberg, Katharine Alexander, Virginia Vale, Robert Stanton and Barbara Pepper. Note that the "Jesse L. Lasky's 'Gateway to Hollywood' Talent Search" was first used to help pick the cast of the movie "Career" from RKO the same year, but apparently, the experiment was abandoned after these two films. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
