One of those examples has been reconsigned to us, and the buyer had it linenbacked, so this is still only one of four examples we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had just a few creases and scuffs scattered throughout. It had a few tears in the borders. It has a 1" tear in the lower right blank border that was acquired after it was backed (surely any restorer could re-glue that area). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
