An Original Vintage Unfolded Special Travel Agency Poster (measures 25" x 40") (Learn More) TWA: Boston, the 1950s airplane travel poster made by TWA to promote travel to Boston, Massachusetts. The poster shows a great artwork image (by William Ward Beeche) of a ship in a bottle and a weather vane with a gold metal rooster perched on it! If anyone knows more about this poster (including the exact year), please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: William Ward Beeche Condition: good to very good. The poster has creases and some tiny tears in the borders, but is otherwise in pretty good condition. This week we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like creasing, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image.
