Note that this movie was made in the days when we were still allies with Russia, and movies like this highlighted Russian heroism against the Nazis (and to create romantic interest in the movie, they added in a ballet dancer turned Resistance leader!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and extra creases, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, and pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges (there was paper loss in the bottom right corner that extended into the very end of the NSS number). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer apparently did not look up the correct NSS number for this movie, because it should have been "44/150", but they were missing the last number and made it "44/159" instead!
