An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) The Devil's Riddle, the 1920 Frank Beal silent romantic melodrama ("The drama of a woman who pawned her heart") starring Gladys Brockwell, William Scott, Richard Cummings, Claire McDowell, and Tom Bates. This poster has really cool imagery of red devils and a black feline cat calling to the woman from the fireplace, but please do not bid thinking this film contains fantasy elements, as based on a New York Times review of the movie from 1920, it does not. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This three-sheet was printed in 3 sections. Condition: good to very good. The poster had many creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss along most foldlines. There was an 8" tear that ran from the woman's sleeve across into the cat's paw. The borders were tattered. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration.
