Date Sold 11/27/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 5 softcover books from The Movie Poster Book, the 1979 Steve Schapiro & David Chierichetti illustrated book. The first 13 pages provide a brief history of movie posters while the remaining pages contain full-color images of posters (many of which garner a full-page image!) along with a brief explanation of most of the images! IMPORTANT! The lot contains 5 identical books, so we have only pictured four images of one book, but the winner of this auction receives all 5 books! Measurements: 8" x 11"Condition: good to very good. There is an oddity with this book in that the glue used for its spine dried out over the years, and when you open the book, if you are not careful, the pages start to separate at the spine. All but one of these do not have separated pages at the spine, but they need to be handled carefully, or this will happen. We have only pictured four images of one of the books, but all 5 are in similar condition. See the images of the one that we pictured to get a sense of the condition of all 5 books.
