An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More)

Taming Target Center, the 1917 William Campbell & Hampton Del Ruth silent cowboy western romantic comedy short (produced by Mack Sennett) starring Polly Moran, Ben Turpin, Tom Kennedy, Gonda Durand, and Larry McGrath. Based on the one-sheet, it looks like it might deal with a romantic love triangle, but we really don't know. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1928 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this poster! Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm].

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a thin strip of paper loss at the top crossfold in Moran's neck, with tiny paper loss an inch above that in her cheek. It had a tiny bit of paper loss and a tear in the lower left of her cheek and some tiny bits of paper loss in Kennedy's neck. It had pretty minor wear on the other folds. It had paper loss in the top right blank corner, and tiny paper loss in the center of the bottom blank border. It had very minor wear on the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
