An Original 1956 (from the first release of this movie in France) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 44 1/2" x 61" [113 x 155 cm]) (Learn More) Feuerwerk (released in other English-speaking countries as "Fireworks"), the 1954 Kurt Hoffmann German/Swiss romantic family relationship musical circus comedy (about a circus that comes to a small German town and it turns out that the head of the circus is the long lost brother of one of the town's leading citizens, something neither wants to explore, but the teenage daughter of the respectable family wants to run away with the circus run by her uncle!) starring Lilli Palmer, Karl Schonbock, Romy Schneider (16 years old in her second movie role!), Claus Biederstaedt, Werner Hinz, Rudolf Vogel, and Margarete Haagen. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, with a greater amount in the bottom of the poster, starting with the bottom horizontal fold and the vertical folds beneath it. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
