He is best remembered for playing Tarzan in the 1959 movie "Tarzan the Ape Man". He was the twelfth actor to play Tarzan, and he signed Tarzan related autographs with "#12". He also played the Gorton's Fisherman in TV commercials for 14 years. Some of his other roles include: TV's "Wagon Train", and The Norsemen. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 80. Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
