That ought to shake up the place pretty good. Not many freaky cops like Bullitt around. You look at the Italian shoes and the turtleneck and you have to wonder. You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct,' 'disruptive influence,' you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop. They weren't exactly doing him a favor. But they've done a great big one for you."; "Detective Lt. Frank Bullitt - some other kind of cop. Pity the guy he works for."; "Based on the novel 'Mute Witness' by Robert L. Pike"; about a detective who drives a 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback while pursuing professional hitmen who murdered the wrong guy and let's not forget the really cool chase scenes!) starring Steve McQueen (in the title role "as Bullitt"), Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, Robert Duvall, Simon Oakland, and Norman Fell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Tom William Chantrell Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this British quad (with wonderful different art by Tom Chantrell) before. 18 years ago, we auctioned a completely different "reviews" style British quad that likely came out after this movie was highly acclaimed. We have seen (but never auctioned) a third style of quad that also has reviews. We certainly hope it won't be 18 more years before we get any quad from this movie again, especially this one, which we have never had! What IS linenbacking?
