An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Below the Line, the 1925 Herman C. Raymaker silent German Shepard canine dog action melodrama ("Warner Bros. Classics of the Screen"; in this movie, Rin Tin Tin falls off a train and is rescued by a nice young man from a small town, and the dog repays the favor by saving him from being killed and also saving him and his girlfriend from a pack of bloodhounds!) starring Rin Tin Tin, John Harron, June Marlowe, Pat Hartigan, and Victor Potel. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Note that you likely have never heard of male lead John Harron! He was one of ten children from an Irish family, and his older brother Robert was a silent star. But Robert died mysteriously in 1920, and John kind of "inherited" his career while still a teenager! But he didn't have the success of his older brother, although he made a number of movies in the 1920s. But the coming of sound meant his career was mostly over, although he continued in small roles. In 1939, he developed spinal meningitis, and died, and he was just 36, leaving a wife and young daughter.

Condition: very good to fine. There is darkening in small parts of the blank borders and some faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
