Werkhuizen de Vleeschauwer Gebroeders (literally translates to "Workhouse of the Vleezchauwer Brothers"), the circa 1890s Belgian advertising poster (with taglines that translate to "The best rapeseed-beet cutter in the world carries the Rapide brand."; "Amazing processing power of 1200 to 10000 kilograms per hour."; "Manual or engine powered."; "Refuse the counterfeits.") promoting the purchase of a seed/vegetable chopper, and featuring art of a family chopping mangelwurzel (also known as fodder beet). When time-saving machines began to be introduced to the harvesting process, farming began to look at industrialization and automation. This reduced the manpower needed, thereby increasing the output each farm could produce, leading ultimately to the industrial agriculture that we know today.

Condition: very good. The poster was likely framed as it has some discoloration along portions of the lower edge and very slight discoloration in few portions of the upper edge and some blank borders. The art is mostly in excellent condition!
