An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Next Corner, the 1924 Sam Wood silent Spain romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the novel and play by Kate Jordan"; about a newlywed who is neglected by her husband and she falls for another man, but she regrets her indiscretion and she writes a letter to her husband confessing all, but the other man stops her from mailing it, and a peasant whose daughter was also seduced by the man bursts in and shoots him, and she returns to her husband who forgives her) starring Conway Tearle, Lon Chaney Sr., Dorothy Mackaill, Ricardo Cortez, Louise Dresser, and Bernard Siegel (as "The Stranger"). Note that Lon Chaney Sr. is second billed but apparently has little screen time in the role as Cortez's aide. Also note that Bernard Siegel was an Austrian actor who started in movies in the U.S. in 1913. He never achieved stardom, but he had a few more significant roles, including in this movie, where Lon Chaney Sr. was the second lead. He also was with Chaney in "Laugh, Clown, Laugh" and "Phantom of the Opera", and one wonders if there was a connection between the two actors. Finally, note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist,

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1924 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie poster or lobby card (only some stills) from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good to fine. There is a 1/2" tear in the upper left border that was repaired with tape from the back. Otherwise, the card is in really nice condition!
